BillMyRate is operated by Andrew James Flores, doing business as Nathan Management, a sole proprietorship registered in California, USA. Contact information is on the contact page.
What we collect
BillMyRate does not collect, store, or share any personal information you enter into the calculator. The fields (income goal, expenses, billable hours, weeks off, benefits toggle) are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you type is transmitted to our servers. We do not require an account, an email address, or any login.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. Vercel Web Analytics records aggregated, anonymized data such as pageviews, referrer, country, browser, and operating system. It does not track you across other sites and does not build a profile of you. You can read more in Vercel's analytics privacy documentation.
Cookies
This site does not set first-party cookies. We do not currently run third-party advertising. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before any advertising script is added, and any third-party advertising provider will be named here with a link to its privacy policy and opt-out controls.
External links
The site links to external resources (the IRS, BLS, Vercel, GitHub, vendor sites mentioned in guides). When you click an external link, you leave this site and are subject to the privacy practices of the destination. We do not control or endorse those practices.
Children
BillMyRate is intended for adults setting business rates. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal information from visitors, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on request. If you believe we hold information about you and want to exercise rights under California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), or EU (GDPR) law, contact us at the email below.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in a short summary at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
